What can I see?
The Turn 1 Grandstand offers a fantastic view of turn 1, named after racing legend Michael Schumacher, as the cars fight for position a the start of the race. Along with a great view of the pit lane exit, you can also see the cars as the enter the breaking zones for turns 2 and 3.
What do I get with my ticket?
You will have a reserved seat in the Turn 1 Grandstand. All 3-Day tickets will have access to the Thursday Pit Lane Walk and autograph sessions, subject to confirmation. Your ticket will also include access to the after-race concerts for each relevant day.

Turn 1 Grandstand was superb - great view of the main straight and the cars braking hard into turn 1 before accelerating through 2 and towards 3. As it was a DRS zone, there was lots of overtaking and action throughout the race as well as a TV screen directly opposite. Good facilities as well and the concerts were great. Access in and out of the track was OK with the free shuttle buses from the hotel. Highly recommend the Bahrain Grand Prix overall!

We were is turn one seating - it was good lots of overtaking although bit disappointed we could not see a bit more of track. We got there for pit walk at 2pm only to be told it had changed to 5pm! This was after being told to go to next gate then another gate! I had not had any notification about that! They would not let us in the ground either we had just got a taxi it was 27 degs as well. After again be told we could get in and walking from one gate to the next they let us in at 3pm! Also we thought we would have an open day on Saturday that we could sit anywhere like the other Grand Prix’s we had been to . But no not aloud so disappointed with that as well. Food was ok but expensive for what you got. No alcohol and we know it is a Muslim country which we respect. However if you wanted to pay to get in hospitality tent then premium prices you can get alcohol, so just remember that if attending.

What a race! A great race destination and will be back. Great DJ concerts, atmosphere great, easy access. We used Uber there, never more than £15 and got the free buses back to a hotel in Manama. Our hotel not on the list, but the one next door was. Give yourself time to get to the track on Sunday. Many roads blocked to allow the king to get there. We sat on the first corner, excellent viewing, great action spot. Great facilities.

This was my second time to the Bahrain grand prix. It is enjoyable because the weather is nice, and the environment around the track is quite nice, but there are some drawbacks. Bahrain itself is an average city compared to other F1 locations. The track is quite far from the city and organising transport can get complicated. And the biggest complaint I would have is how the transport was organised on the final day. There was a bus shuttle service from the ticket collection point to the track, but then they decided without notice to stop the buses running after the race so some VIPs could get away! Outrageous disregard for normal fans. Then to make matters worse they turned certain roads into one way so even after having walked to the ticket collection point - 30 minutes - it was difficult for our taxi to get there. So all in all, completely ridiculous treatment of fans - who had paid a lot of money to be there. Means I won;t go again

Fantastic weekend from Friday through to race day. Transport from the hotels to the track were very helpful and made it easy to get away at the end of each day, although the leaflet could have been a little clearer as to when they left the hotel. Not as much to do around the circuit as the likes of Silverstone and Melbourne (but I wasn't expecting there to be) but still plenty to keep me occupied for a full 3 days, especially with some great F2 racing. Overall, really enjoyed the weekend. It's a fantastic race with lots of overtaking and well worth the visit.

The F1 in Bahrain is absolutely brilliant, such a relaxed atmosphere in the city and at the track, met some great people at the track. The shuttle buses back & forth from Manama to the track are great and plenty of them. Lots going on, besides the racing, to keep you entertained both at the track & in Manama. I highly recommend purchasing the entry ticket to the hospitality tent at the circuit, full aircon and a great escape from the HEAT in between races.

easy access to the track well organised transportation/infrastructure easy in & out no need to go friday not much going on weekend was good as were the seats complaint about the facilities - toilets come 7pm sunday are disgusting and out of soap and towels the eateries around the track, the best and majority are at the other end to turn 1 what is near turn 1 is a burger shack, that is it

Great experience for my son and I. We booked late but bookF1 were great with their ticketing and sent through e-tickets which were accepted on all but one earlier checkpoint. Managed the Pit Lane walk on Thursday in the rain, yes in BahRAIN, selfies and handshakes with Lewis, Nico and Cecco made it worthwhile. More selfies and handshakes with Seb, Kimi (he managed a 1/8th smile!) and local lad Jollian P on Saturday. Another great day at the races. Not much to say about the race itself, except Lewis needs to learn some clutch control and put pedal to the metal quicker. Great Experience, may return to Bahrain next year, will certainly use bookF1 again.

Booked tickets and arrived no problem, received courtesy email that they were on their way, nice touch. We had tickets for turn 1, good view of the track, only one big screen though. Bahrain has Dinars as currency, exchange rate is £2 to 1 dinar, exchanged in UK at post office, had to order as not a standard currency. Exchange rate in Heathrow was terrible, in Bahrain is was a little worse that UK BUT they do a buy back with same exchange rate with no commission. Takes a bit of getting used to the prices as they look good then you realise you have to double the price to convert to GBP. Looked on websites and it says in Bahrain you need a visa, can obtain online or visa on arrival, costing £50. BUT as you are a F1 fan you get a free visa on arrival, 4 special lanes in arrivals with big Red placards above the lanes. The visa cost is included in the ticket price. Have the tickets with you in hand luggage if you can't show them you will have to buy a visa. Also included in the ticket price is the cost of the shuttle buses, they start running from Airport to hotels from the Monday before the race. After race they run from hotels to Airport up until Monday after the race. If you want to book a taxi in airport Manama is in zones, to zone A where we stayed 7 Dinar. We were advised to book hotel in Juffair, good area for expats and has street called American Alley, about 200 yds of shops, restaurants and take aways. End of the street is Mega Market, first floor is Tesco, anything you forgot is in here. Also has Juffair mall, 4 floors of shopping with food court and games zone of fifth floor. Hotels that have shuttle buses: RAMEE GRAND, GULF HOTEL, DIPLOMAT RADISON, RITZ CARLTON, INTERCONTINENTAL REGENCY, SOFITEL HOTEL, FOUR SEASONS HOTEL, DOWNTOWN ROTANA, RAMADA HOTEL, K HOTEL, BESTWESTERN, plus OLIVE. You don't need to stay in one of these hotels to use shuttle buses, you can book a hotel close by and at shuttle bus hotel show them your track ticket or voucher. The buses are well organised, at every hotel is someone organising them, they call the other hotels and then route the buses to fill them as much as they can. After race head to shuttle bus park, many people there waiting, tell them your hotel and they will direct you to correct bus, ours was K Hotel and filled quickly and pulled out with a shuttle bus behind us which took our slot and started filling up again. Very efficient, after race the roads are made one way so traffic moves from track at a decent rate. Airport style security at all entrance gates, all bags scanned, no food or drinks allowed, inside there are many catering stalls. Friday we queued for 20 minutes and got served under cooked burgers from next to BIC building. We then walked past the main grandstand where there are 16 food, drink, beverage outlets, foods 3.5 Dinar, so £7.00 and as bit overpriced but everything here is expensive. Team merchandise expensive too, old hats for Brawn and Caterham were £20.00, major team baseball caps £40. Alcohol is not available in supermarkets or restaurants, there are several bars close by, Rockys Cafe be careful as tried to charge me £6.00 for a can of coke. Bottles of Bud £7.00, draft Bud £9.00 a pint, cheapest beer we found was Henrys Bar just outside Juffair at £7.00 a pint and most expensive was K Hotel at £12.00 a pint. If you like a drink buy from Heathrow duty free. Weather is hot but it did rain three times while we were there. Overall with ticket prices for Grandstand, cheap flights from Heathrow, sensible priced hotels and free shuttle buses which make it a cheaper alternative to other F1 Weekends.

Finally got to see a GP and was not disappointed. What a fantastic time and TV does not do it justice. Looking forward to the Abu Dhabi F1 GP.

Good Weekend, The only thing I would say is that on the two days before the race it would of been nice to be able to walk around the track and view the full circuit rather than being restricted to our Turn one stand. We tried to visit the other stands when it was quiet and we were not aloud in.

Great experience! There were free buses to and from many of the hotels in Manama that ran every half hour which made getting to the event very easy. The free pit walk on the Thursday was really interesting. The view from turn one was fantastic we could see up the pit straight and down into the next turn, atmosphere was exciting and had a really good feel to the crowd. The Gulf Air Tent was a must for anyone who wants to sit down in an air conditioned environment away from the crowds and enjoy a drink, it's the only place to buy alcohol. The Afrojack concert on the Saturday night was also really good. Overall a brilliant weekend and I will definitely be looking forward to my next Grand Prix.

No protest problems, security v good. The food stalls no brilliant but overall well worth it.

excellent weekend do not know what all the fuss was about on T.V. prior to the race .I experienced nothing but friendliness in all parts of Bahrain
23 Apr. 2012
Although there were troubles on the island, we experienced no problems to and from the circuit on any day from my son's house, which is well south of Manama. In fact, it took us less than 30mins to drive home after deciding to leave the circuit 30 mins after the presentation ceremony. There was intense security and numerous checkpoints, however, probably no more than any of the UK olympic venues will have. In fact, if Portland & Weymouth (where we live) is as well organised for the olympic sailing, I will be more than happy. In addition to the very enjoyable racing events, in particular the Grand Prix (except for the result), the facilities were more than adequate and the snacks & soft drinks sensibly priced. Overall a first rate experience, extremely well organised and excellent value for money.

Great track and facilities, unfortunately main F1 race was a bit processional but there were several good supporting races and qualifying activity over the full 3 days.
