As the closest city to the circuit, Abu Dhabi is the main place to stay. There is an abundance of luxury hotels in Abu Dhabi, as well as a few more budget-friendly options. Most hotel resorts boast beach front locations, so you can top up your tan before heading off to catch all the action at the twilight race.
Hotels that are located on Yas Island will also be served by a complimentary bus service around the island over the race weekend. Please check with your hotel directly to see if this option is available for you.
Another option may be to stay in nearby Dubai and travel to Yas Island each day. This journey is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes each day, however public transport may take longer. If you choose to drive or take a taxi, we recommend setting off early, in order to avoid the traffic that can form over the race weekend.
Dubai has some of the world's most impressive hotels, including the Burj Al Arab (the most luxurious hotel in the world) and the Atlantis Palm Resort. Most hotels are located on the beach, but you can also head inland for some cheaper options.
